Hey...you guys forgot that Macq has something called a 'PC' which is 45-50.

Also, our GPAs only go up to 4 :(
Lol. I was a bit shocked when I saw my marks then GPA after transfering from UWS I was like 3.6 wtf thats like a high pass average it doesnt make sense.

Is mac the only one that has the GPA that goes up to 4? UWS the highest is 7.

Every uni in NSW uses the 7 point scale except Macq and UTS, both of which use the 4 point scale. I think UTS is planning to switch to the 7 point scale next year though.

Completely. Because my knowledge of one acronym's meaning determines my worth as a whole.

A credit in Engineering is not bad. There are a much higher proportion of students in my engineering class who are repeating the subject compared to my other classes.

haha then my hate that got almost an hd average in engineering was killng it at unsw?

and the average mark also depends on the subject. getting a 60 in one subject might mean being average for another or top of another.

Yeah MQ is planning to do so, as well, soon, finally.

My 4.0 GPA will equate to something understandable by the world. :-/

But most people know that the US runs off a 4 point scale. When someone see's a GPA under 4 from a uni in NSW they just think you're an idiot.

I really don't care about the US, to be honest.

Also, I seriously fail to see why an HD and a D are equal contributors for a GPA, especially considering the exponentially-increasing difficulty of work it takes to get a higher mark.
