Just really depends on your aim and your capabilities. For your particular UAI aim, those marks would be a good base, but definitely try and increase thm to give yourself more chance of achieving that target

No. No marks (someone correct me if I'm wrong) in your Preliminary is counted towards your HSC. Its only that 20-30% of the Preliminary course work may appear in your actual HSC exam.

I heard that the average mark for 3U hsc raw is generally around 41-45/84, and around 55-62/120 for 2U HSC, so if your getting around 75-80% for 3U and similar for 2U you should get a band 6/E4.

people doing 4unit... they get band 6 mark in 2unit thats why you dont do the exam... once i had my 3unit and 2unit mark the same 96% for both.. ii missed out on 1 question for both worth 2 marks :-( whats the highest 3unit mark some 1 got here

2unit isn't even counted if you do 4unit, so technically you don't get band 6.
