For my HSC I gave up a couple of things...

favourite shows..
going out.
getting enough sleep.
Online games...

And the last 2 months (which includes the hols) before my HSC exams started, I basically went to the library each day and just did hard out study from early in the morning until 7pm.

I reckon it was worth it though.

Now I got a heaps long holiday.

The point is not what you sacrificed, but what you can continue to sacrifice until the end of the HSC.

I've known people to give up wow after prelim started... and played wow everyday even during the trials and HSC exams

I worked much less, went from 14-20 hours a week to 3.

Please, don't anyone give up sport! You need a physical outlet for stress. If anything, take up more! It really clears the mind and helps you study.

But giving up some TV is a good thing - mind you, there is so much nonsense on free to air. Maybe give up Cable TV. It'll be cheaper too.
