I will be aiming for 99.99/100. I doubt I will make it, but most subjects I have an interest in thus studying comes naturally since I enjoy it.

English I have difficulty understanding at times, mainly because I have little interest in the subject and studying to understand English content requires many more hours compared to that of other subjects.

I am prepared to go without a social life for a year to reach the intended program at university.

You will need to band 6 english for UAI 99.95/100.

All i can say is that it's gonna be one massive catfight for who wants to be in the top 100 UAI. Isn't the system supposed to be like from

100 UAI = around 20 students
Each 0.05 increment downwards = around 40 people in each increment.

having no life is not how you get 99+

from experience - it's the quickest way to burn yourself out.
i always heard that and used to go "yeah whatever"

but, with my hsc in 2days - i'm burnt out good.

Study hard. There are no short cuts.

When you get home from school STUDY for 8 hours hard out for the rest of the year. Even that won't guarantee you to get 100%.
Apply yourself to the max.
When you study make sure you have at least one 30 minute break.
Buy all the books you can for all of your subjects.
Read heaps.
Listen/pay attention.
Revise your daily notes at the end of the night(write them up again right before you go to bed) in a book for your revision notes.
Think nothing but the hsc for 2 years.
Do NOT miss assessment tasks.
Good attendance is a definite.
Keep an organized schedule of what you plan to do with your work and hours
for example: a dairy.

Learnt from experience of the boyfriend.
