Hey fellow 2013ers! At my school (like most schools I guess) they make us do 13 units for prelim. From what I've seen no-one really does that many units for the HSC.

I personally can not imagine dropping any of my subjects but I know people who know exactly what they want to drop.

What subjects will you drop for HSC?

Hmmm a decent set of people do 13 unit workload for HSC, it's just 14+ most don't.

It's okay, it's really early days yet. I dropped something completely different to what I would have said at this stage in year 11.

Drop a subject at yr 11 if you are sure, but if not, do some of yr 12 and see if that cement what you want to drop if any.

Although I'm only in year 10, I would imagine that I would continue with the same subjects I have chosen until the end. Well, I enjoy practically all school subjects however I can be biased towards others a lot more.

I know for sure now that I'll drop english extension and pick up maths extension 2 in year 12. All my other subjects are going okay so far, though I might drop french, depending on how I go this year.

Most likely drop Legal Studies and/or English Extension 1 and pick up Mathematics Extension 2.

I think I'll be dropping bio, legal studies with 10 units for the hsc i.e. chemistry, physics, mx1, mx2 and english.

will drop sdd and/or sor1 and/or ee1

ill probs do 4u maths and probably not do ex2

I definitely wouldn't do 13. 12 is okay, in my opinion but 11 is the sweet spot.
