TextbookS: Cost a fortune...but it's the same for every uni. Most unis actually use "Laying Down the Law" for first years. Freaking expensive for such a boring book about nothing. The supplementary readings (equivalent to handouts) were of much more use.
-100% employment rate according to the Good Unis Guide...3 years in a row..(i think)..
-Facilities: Not really any obvious facilities for law...but there are heaps of computers...if u know where to find them..and u DO need them..uni also has a shitload of law databases for journal articles amd other publications..very useful..there's a separate Law Library like most other unis...nothing special about that..
What we learn: We generally follow the standard for most unis...all major law areas are core subjects..(crime, public law, torts, evidence)...what sets it apart is the emphasis on practical subjects...like communication skills, negotiation, client interviewing...etc..
Seminars are a "new" way of teaching...this means that lectures are becomming less important whilst classroom style teaching is the lastest trend...all unis attempt to follow this now.,...
