Got myself a bench and barbell, 2 days ago, I can bench 48kg, never knew I could do this much :/
easily. Is it possible to bench more than your own body weight?
there are people who bench double their body weight, which is insane >_>Is it possible to bench more than your own body weight?
ok he says himself that none of that is based on any scienceI'm aiming for just about 95. Max 80 atm. Here are the strength standards

I used to plateau at 65. But when I started eating more and got a regular spotter. My gains increased massively
thats much better
Whoa...there are people who bench double their body weight, which is insane >_>
You get stronger as you keep lifting, What I'm lifting now is double where I started a month ago, even though it may be less for people, it's still double, so I've made progress.Whoa...
How is that even possible? :/
He probably took powerlifting standards and worked down from there.he has an inflated sense of normal when it comes to strength
i was really only gonna try to do 1 rep and be like "yay i can squat 100kg for 1rep woo triple figures", but i ended up doing 2 sets of 5 reps of 100kg, then i dropped it to 60 and did 15 reps which is apparently good for tearing my muscles (in a good way) and promoting this or that, idk, i'd rather have dropped it to 90 or 85kg and done like another 5 or 8.90kg squat last week,, gonna attempt 100kg today.
