Want to quit maccas job (1 Viewer)

Hi all,
Being working at maccas for about 5 months now and really want to quit.
However, I am in a 12 month 'cert 2 in retail operations' traineeship and signed the training contract already.
So are you allowed to quit before your traineeship ends or can you not as they have already payed for your certificate training?

I doubt this.
But i would say something along the lines of, you would have to give a certain amount of time notice and you may have to pay for the course (if they paid for it). Also if the government has paid for it, you will not be able to do another course and have the government pay for it. ( i think)

You have to give a period of notice before quitting. (in my case this is one month's notice in writing)

here is a section from my work contract
"Upon termination of your employment, the company will pay your accrued entitlements (if any) to you. You authorise the company to deduct any monies owned by you to the company from any accrued entitlements."
so they can charge you things.
