it depends on how tanned/dark you are, there's a limit to how pale you can naturally be. I wouldn't really trust bleaching products aka evil chemicals, especially if you have sensitive skin. There's nothing wrong with a nice tan

Being un-tanned is healthier and helps your skin not to age as quickly.

i'm yellow too..
i went to the phillipines a little while ago.... and i felt horribly, disgustingly white. esp by comparison to these beautiful philo girls and their dark skin..

so i decided i'd go and buy some faux tan from their HUGE department stores...

could i find any? No.
the sales assisstant looked at me weird, not understanding quite what i wanted and then proceeded to take me to the shelves that stacked Whitening cream etc.. [ie, all the famous brands here that sell us tanning lotion, sell them whitening lotion..]

then when we went away to this eco island thing..
there were 1023091239 malaria carrying mozzies [ok maybe im exaggerating about the malaria.. but not the #] and we had to pile on this 'OFF!' insect repellant...
but the locals wouldnt touch the stuff because it had darkening agents in it.. prefering to be bitten than black.
they'd walk from hut to hut with umbrellas to avoid the sun...

whose parents get angry at him when he goes out in the sun too much and gets darker...

mine do too.. but while mine are avid about skin protection and premature ageing... his are apparently concerned about the connotations of dark skin back in their home country...

I find it interesting that most darker skinned people want to be paler, while most fair people want to be darker. The grass is always greener on the other side no matter how you look at it.

So why exactly do you want to go white? I mean, there are products that will do it. But are we talking 'you want to change your skin colour so you look like you're english' white, or just that you want to have less tanned skin?

pale white, when my brass develops into a goatee then develops into a bear then the contrast isnt good, until then, pale.

pale and white skin ftw.

tanning is overated.

especially when people end up like a terra cotta pot.

using ProActiv will make you really pale, after about a month of using it (never had acne, just wanted to prevent pimples) i went from tanned to heaps white, coz its a bleach.
