But wouldn't VSU prepare them for the real world? As in the real world, services are pay as you use. If i want a pizza, i pay the full price of the pizza at the pizza shop. If i want a shirt, i pay full price for it at the store.
I know the analogy may be not quite correct, but the moral of the story is that not everything is subsidised in the real world, and if you want services, be prepared to pay for them. If you don't want services, then don't pay and you don't get to use the service. SIMPLE.
Under USU, you don't want the service, but you have to pay for it. How is that reflective of the real society?
