Hey guys,

I did my Viva Voice today and it went well but towards the end my teacher said: "I'm just asking for clarity...."

me: *oh no* (in my head)

Teacher: "Are you saying that Alzhiemer's disease causes you to lose your identity or keep your identity regardless because I think you're contradicting yourself."

My response (wanted to ensure I could myself out of hole: In terms of society they believe that you lose your identity, while as an individual you see yourself as retaining your identity

My teachers then nodded in understanding and were fine.. Will this mean I will lose marks?? was my save enough... :(

I wouldn't worry too much! My teacher was very understanding with his marking. I got 17/20 despite this long list of suggestions:
- idea was a bit cliche
- too many things going on
- lack of coherency at times
- such complex ideas hard to follow at times
- concerned that choice of form is not established
Hence, in summary, if they had that many issues and still gave me 17/20 and that was your only issue you should do fine! :) Depends on your teacher of course!

I think the save will help you, but the fact that they thought there was a contradiction and not enough clarity isn't great. The save definitely won't hurt though.
