My new Video iPod is being gay

so....How exactly do I transfer videos to my computer to the ipod?

Or am i under some strange illusion that you cant do this?

No brogan...It then wants me to convert it to "ipod format"

I do so and even then it comes up with a circle with a line through the middle when i try to drag and drop.

I just have nfi how to put them on teh ipod.

Its not so much the conversion, but more actually getting the videos onto the iPod.

NOTE TO EVERYONE:

I have no trouble converting files.
Its getting them on the ipod. THATS my problem.

I cant drag and drop (converted) videos on the ipod.

Don't drag and drop. Go to File -> Add New File

So I can only have ipod formatted videos in my Videos section?

The videos are already in the itunes videos section.

I think the problem is you can add files to iTunes yet they still won't be compatible with the iPod.

To me, your problem is an issue of conversion since iTunes is still throwing up

So even though you said you've converted them, they're still not compatible. Maybe try a different conversion program and readd them to iTunes?

Wow. This is fucked. My computer just randomly crashed out of nowhere, something it hasnt done since its upgrade.

I cbfed messsing around with outside vendors programs. iTunes should do what it says it does.

Im thinking a trip to the Apple store is in order.

No offense to you, but with the information you gave us, specifically the stuff about your ipod not being able to accept your files which in turn is directly related to the conversion of files as shown by the apple link I pasted, it was all we could do to help.
