Hello, i was wandering if i could still receive an ATAR if i applied for 2x 2unit vet courses with the rest being all 2unit category A subjects

I believe so, you have 8 Category A units and 4 Category B units. Only 2 Category B units can be counted, so assuming you keep 12 units for the HSC, yes, you will be able to get an ATAR.

Logically, to have two VET courses that means you need to do 14 units in year 11. If my memory serves me correct, the teacher stated that it is optional to sit the VET course test for your HSC but if you don't sit it, you wouldn't be qualified to get an ATAR.
