High performance V6's (e.g. 350z/370z, Porsches, etc) are prohibited in NSW.

Check the restricted vehicle list on your relevant state authority's website.

My mistake- I meant to say the ban is on high performance 6 cylinder engines but instead I had V6 in my mind from the topic title.

if you live in the country you can drive whatever the fuck you want just don't hit any cows or the hindu farmers will kill you

You can apply for an exemption for what is considered a "moderate performance turbo" - in NSW that is.
