i just wanna know, could you apply at mid semester at uts, and what mark average do you need in uws to get into uts

I've met a lot of people who transferred from UWS Eng to UTS Eng, dont remember specific marks (not sure if I even asked) but it's not particularly challenging.

If you apply midyear, I think they take your atar.
I think you need to do a full years study in order for them to take your GPA

I have been reading on old post..some ppl says that u need a distinction.

Can't say for sure and i'm sure it varies from year to year, but I don't think it's anywhere near that high.

I wouldnt mind.. but the Uni is too far from where I live, UTS gives a practical overview/experience compared to other Uni,plus alot of my family went there so its sorta familiar and UNSW wants student are have very high, i doubt I would be consisdered for it.

yea I heard that UWS subjects are easy compares to other Uni's... but dose this also apply in Engo..

Well a guy I met had to redo an intro to electrical subject at UTS after doing one at UWS. He was struggling and reckoned they'd only covered the first half iirc.

But that might be because mechanical/mechatronic/ICT engineers at UTS do the same intro subject as EE majors, maybe UWS have an electrical subject tailored to the other majors.
