The 'thejosiekiller' GUESTIMATE:

A guestimate is pretty much a guess/estimate of what you think your final subject marks will be for this semester.

The word 'guestimate' was made up by thejosiekiller; who will forever be immortalised in this UTS tradition.

e.g.
My Guestimates:
Accounting Standards and Regulations (22420): Credit - Distinction
Management Decisions and Control (22421): Credit - Distinction
Systems Development Project (31281): Distinction - High Distinction

So whenever you like, feel free to make a guestimate on your marks. You may do this now or after your final exam =)

How do I view my results online/email my academic record?
1. Click on this link: https://onestopadmin.uts.edu.au/ Then 'I accept' on the bottom.
2. Login using your student number and password. NB: It is the same login and password as your email and UTSOnline.
3. Follow the instructions below:

A quote from jasee in 2006 (this information should apply for this semester):

One Stop Student Administration
Click on "Results", then you may have to select your course, and then it will display your results.
I recommend logging in by 23:00 and clicking around every 5-10 minutes (anything less than that is not really needed). Don't refresh the page as it wastes resources and also sometimes logs you out. The system only allows a certain amount of people on at a time and it will give you a busy page when its full.
Results are also available via 1300 656 887, although usually not until around 9am or so.

Some other useful information:

Actually, results will be available via phone around 5pm on Tuesday by calling the results line 1300656887

NB: Results could be available at 5pm on the day before the official results release (via phone) on the UTS Results line.

Now you can know if you pass all the subjects in Autumn 07.
Just go to the result page in MSA and click "Email my complete academic record", then your record in pdf will be emailed to your UTS email account. Then check "Total credit points gained", if you pass all the subjects, then all Autumn 07 credit points are added.
Now I know I pass all at least.

NB: This may work before the official results release.
*Second quote does not work for First Semester, First Year students.

I found another way which may help you know which subject you failed.
Go to the Study Plan page. If the status of the subject you did in Autumn 07 is Enrolled, then you passed. If it is planned, then you failed.
My friend's one subject's status become "Planned" and the Total Credit Points Gained indicates that he got 18 cps in Autumn 07 and he enrolled 24 cps.

NB: This may work before the official results release.

Apparently the subject got destroyed (as of the end of this semester), and I got a free choice of elective for it.

Applied Company Law - Credit or Distinction. Hopefully the latter, but I kind of doubt it.
Assurance Services and Audit - High Credit or a Distinction. I'm sitting just on a D now..not sure if I'll D the final exam.
Financial Statement Analysis - Surprisingly, the minimum I can get is a credit, so now a D isn't out of the question.
Strategic IT Planning Project - A distinction would be nice but I'm thinking a credit might eventuate

Applied Company Law - expected a solid credit before exam, now hoping for a low credit, or pass. i had zero knowledge of the Esanda case that was asked about :/

Tax Law - Credit.

Managing Value Stream - Distinction - HD if i'm very lucky.

Org Structure and Change - my most hated uni topic so far. hoping for a pass credit if i'm lucky.

ugh, what a crap semester. i prefered my ABC, CMS and ASR (+ BLEthics) of last semester. MDC, FSA, Audit, management skills (haha) next semester and i'm done.

The lecturer had updated the marks yesterday.
My mark had been changed to 74.5 Unbelievable.
It is just enough to get a Disctinction. haha

The subject disappears in UTSOnline doesn't mean you have passed that subject.

just means the subject coordinator deleted everyone from acct2 on utsonline..

if you failed.. you would have to enrol again, and the subject coordinator will re-register those on utsonline from those enroled by importing from MyStudentAdmin.
