well nto sure exactly but in a science degree usually the first year is quite similar for all science disciplines. that is a student doing physics, or a student doing chemistry or like you life and enviro which sounds alot like biology, u will pretty much do similar things to what other students are doing,, its in ur 2nd adn 3rd adn 4th years that u separate form them adn do differnt thngs.. one thing thats common is most people od mathemaitcs in the first year ,,, i think its compulsory.....ig uess ur best optin is just do a bridign course in uni,,where u study a hsc subject again like chem or math or phys etc with the teachers there whilst doing uni work
