got a call from UTS today offering me a preliminary offer into UTS engineering.Anyone else get the same or know anything much about preliminary offers, i know the preliminary date closes before the main round date but thats about it.

I called up and the woman that answered is like 'it means you're basically in' and then she said congratulations
also preliminary offers are supposed to give priority to students that 'stand out' or something i think. we got offers before main rounds, so basically that means you are in I think lol

yeah i had an offer as well, im wasnt really sure what it meant but i guess it means were all in. yay

YEA! i got in as well. i dno how though...i mocked around in the questionaire that they gave. For the question " Describe something that you have made with engineering background" i wrote sand bridge (the little bridge that you make in the beach when you were young...put your hand in the sand..etc) and i calculated the area under the curve for the bridge to stand..T_T"......I got in for INNovation Engineering...

I got in this too.. I'm thinking it's the questionaire... not sure, if i want to accept.

When did you guys get your calls... I got mine like 5-6 hours after atar was announced, from some guy representing the dean.
