Yeh, I'm going to have to agree. Go to Tafe, do a diploma, and transfer at end (maybe even during?).a money making scheme is what it is
I want to do Architecture, which required around 93.5 ATAR last year and it'll probably increase for 2012. So yeah I'm doubtful.Do you honestly think you won't make the cutoff for the course you want?
In your case, its probably too early to decide on a specific course and worry about your ATAR. I've researched it a little while ago, its a good scheme because it makes you seem as if you are an actual UTS student, which is the social aspect. Money wise its around $21,000 odd, NOT worth it one bit, the prices are ridiculous. It really isn't worth it, you're better going to somewhere else and then transferring.Does anyone know anything about it? (Is it worth all the money and how are the people like)
Architecture isn't offered in Macq or UWS..In your case, its probably too early to decide on a specific course and worry about your ATAR. I know the ATARs required for UNSW, USYD and somewhat UTS are over the top, but have you thought about Macquarie? Also, its hard to believe but even though UWS Parramatta is a bit of a shithole, they actually have world class engineering department.
What subjects do you do?
