Why the hell won't it work?

I got an offer, went through all the steps on their website; they then say to active an email account.

Problem is, everytime I do it, it says "Access Denied"

I checked that the password was between 6-8 chars and that it had a number in it; but it still wont work!!!

What am I doing wrong?

Hey. I'm a non current school leaver and I accepted my offer for UTS through the UAC website as well. But when I type in my UAC number and DOB in the first step to register for enrolment on the UTS site, it then says my number cannot be found and "try again later".

Is there anything else I have to do?

Umm, well im not sure!

Im not sure about non-current school leavers, but with me (a school leaver) my UAC number was my BOS student number; just with an extra 1 whacked on the front.

Don't know for sure though; maybe there is something wrong with UTS' systems?

I have the same problem as Rayanaldo, it says you need to put in your UAC Application number and Date of Birth, but it says that my offer wasnt found after I enter in my details.

Give it a bit of times. Sometimes it takes a little while after you register for e-mail accounts to activate and propogate through a server. Give it 24 hours after you register I guess. Have you all accepted your offer? (ie. Step 1).

yeh I did, my friend that accepted at the same time as me and tried enrolling had no problems. I will wait 2-3 days then probably send an email to them if its not working by then.

It said you needed the email for confirmation or something like that.

i finished my enrollment like 20 min ago it worked perfectly well to get the UTS student number i just put my student number with the extra 1 in front and it automatically went to this next page and told me what my UTS student number was and from their i just continued the enrollment process to step 7

Now whats even worse is that I got sent a booklet and a form about HECS-HELP.

Why does the government have to make everything so god damn confusing? haha

i jus went into my UTS email.. and holy cow..
it has emails from 2004
and 2005
i remember way back in 2004 when i enrolled in B Engineering at uts...
those emails regarding that is still in my uts email..
meaning they give me exactly the same email that they gave me before
and also they do not delete the stuff in your email if you resign from the uni...
hmm i probably had the same Student# too back then ... LOL

1 - http://www.uts.edu.au/email/index.html (You have to activate it first though here: https://email.itd.uts.edu.au/webapps/activation/ )

2 - No I havent, although I have already selected my major (or something), im guessing we pick the subjects on enrolment day?

it wasn't working before
but u need your UTS STUDENT NUMBERS
then it will work
