This is for a close friend of mine who's been offered nursing at Lismore and doesn't want to move away from the (central) coast,

he asks:

If i change my preferences for the final round will it cancel my pending offer for nursing?

Please give me some assistance here,

no it wont, but your friend needs to enrol in the nursing course, or they may well miss out altogether. Very few offers are made in the fnal round. If he/she changes their prefs for final round, it wont cancel the nursing offer, they can still recieve a late/final round offer even if they have been given or accepted a main/late round offer.
