I have a prac due in 2 days, to do in-class. All they gave us is a sheet of paper saying:
" This prac will involve projectile motion using a steel ball and an inclined plane".

Anyone please please please give me some help on what this could be??:eek::bomb:

Probably determining the theoretical values of projectile motion with actual (practical) values.

This is what Galileo basically did to predict projectile motion.

Perhaps you should ask your teacher for more details, instead of panicking?

We once did a prac in class involving rolling steel balls off the end of a ramp, then set up a vertical barrier with carbon paper to determine how far each ball travelled or fell (vertically). We then analysed the results (as separate vertical and horizontal components) to find the velocity of the ball bearing as it left the ramp.

In a prac they usually guide you through the process, and give you all necessary formulae. Just stay calm and focused and you should be fine. There really isn't much you can prepare for. Good luck
