I was just wondering how this degree is set up as I havent been able to find much information on that sort of stuff. Is there anything that I have to study along with it (exlcuding arts and sciences) like the bachelor of arts and sciences which has economics or something.

Thanks heaps.

I got no idea. If you haven't searched the USyd website, that's a start:

http://fmweb01.ucc.usyd.edu.au/ugcourses/FMPro?-db=msr%5fugpg.fp5&-format=%2fugcourses%2fdetails.html&-lay=www&-sortfield=ug%5fuai2007&-sortorder=descend&za%5fa%5fWebSearch=arts%20science&a%5fPlacesTypeHECS=Yes&zc%5fShowOnWeb=Yes&a%5fCourseLevel=UG&-recid=32784&-token.1=Local&-token.9=arts%20science&-find=

If you want more info re science/arts subjects look at the faculty handbooks for each degree found here:

http://www.usyd.edu.au/handbooks/

I think the science degree allows for a third of your degree to be studied from other faculties keeping in mind that you meet prerequisites for subjects.

However, I wouldn't know if that still applies with combined science degrees.

Good luck finding info.

EDIT: Just found this in the handbook. Have a browse through it, you might find something. It's about combined science degrees:
