Exactly. And only people at UNSW would know about the UNSW course anywayz. I think itd be different across different courses and for different people

The courses in UNSW are much lighter then other major unis.

Escpecially maquarie.
I think they're all about the same. But UNSW is known to give higher grades in general and to more people.

That's true for first year commerce, to an extent
I have friends doing commerce at macq, and their work seemed more advanced, and generally bloody hard compared to what i was doing.

one of my friends, who beat me UAI wise, failed Microeconomics 1 at Macq, whereas I got High Distinction at UNSW

but thats just an example...u cant really say that for everything

no, i know ppl from serveral unis and most from UNSW seems to be doing little
It doesn't mean there is nothing to do. They can simply be not doing it. I'm already into my 3rd assignment for computing now - working everyday and haven't slept before midnight ever since uni started

The idea at UNSW is that USYD gives out uni medals like they give out free pens (not that I'm saying this is true). HDs are rare at UNSW.

See for yourself; this year's uni honour roll; there were two pages in paper for USYD and UNSW. USYD took one and a half pages of the two pages.
