Are you guys (referring to UNSW) learning consolidation, business combinations, liquidation etc in a accounting level 2 subject as well? Level 1 accounting unit is seriously almost a joke. .

Yes but for some reason I found grasping the concepts of debits/credits and the accounting cycle really challenging when I was in first sem, first year uni. Nevertheless I got it in the end but that was only from working in practice than uni.
