Turns out it's not because the Union are grinches, but because it's illegal to have it there without hiring an attendant to stand there cleaning it 24/7 because of public liability/food poisoning etc, so unfortunately I can't promise microwaves

Then why not open a small microwave place? Have a few microwaves, get an attendant to look after it and charge everyone who uses it $1 or something? Or like...get existing places to heat up food for a fee.

That last idea sounds like something which could work, and if I get on I'll definately look to pursue something along those lines (provided it could be provided for <$1.50, which I'm sure it could).

Is there any way that you/someone else can check if I was signed up properly?

And why has the website not been updated for over a year.

Send me an email at simon.justin@gmail.com and I'll forward it to the president who'll add you to the club list. If it's a uni mail that could be why, they seem to block our emails.
Website hasn't been updated because last year that was my job but I was too busy doing campaign stuff and that was a priority, we're supposed to be getting a new layout done soon, though.
