UniLodge at ANU? (1 Viewer)

I'm hoping to get into a single studio at UniLodge at ANU in 2014, and have put Lena-Karmel as my preference.

Has anyone seen the UniLodges? What was the cleanest/most looked after lodges? Any other comments on the individual UniLodges would be great.

lena karmel is the newest, most cleanest, kind of hotel-looking
it's a bit more secluded than the other ones as it's mostly studios so people keep to themselves
davey is the oldest and.. least clean/nice but more social
kinloch is quite nice i reckon, a lot of events (and also parties for some reason) are held there since it's got a bigger common room, although lk has one on every floor

Thank you so much that is exactly the information I needed! Are there still plenty of chances to get involved in campus life if you live in a UniLodge? I like my own space so would love a single studio but also want to make friends and I've heard on campus is best for that.

UniLodge isn't really that far off campus. The distance from the Business & Economics buildings to B&G/Bruce is about the same as from the Biology/Chemistry/Physics/Engineering buildings to UniLodge. In other words, you'll be on campus, and have lots of opportunities to socialise - at least you won't be living an hour bus trip away.

Is the Unilodge for one person only rooms or can we apply for shared rooms?

You can have single rooms or share with another person, or even more and all have a communal bathroom/kitchen
