to be honest; you only really need to go if you have specific questions about your desire degrees

(ie, how do i transfer into it? what is it focus on more?)

however, you could also take this chance to walk aimlessly around the campus

i reckon its a good chance to get to see the uni

also some uni will give u a guided tour of the uni and some even faculty specific

i guess it would help if you know for 100% certain that u want to go that uni

you should go to have a look around. got nothing to lose and everything (freebies lol ) to gain!

don't have to go to every single one but go to ones you're interested in, ask a few questions maybe, look at facilities, get a feel for atmosphere. its been said 100 times already.

at this stage, its just important to gets lots of info. you might be surprised at how much you don't know

I went to the open days at UNSW, USYD, UTS, MQ and UWS.
I go to ACU for my degree, and already knew I was going to MQ to do the certificate in languages because it is the only uni that offers Croatian.
Open days are only really good for the free stuff.. all of those magazines I got pretty much went in the bin soon after because it is quite similar to what it says in the UAC guide. I didn't even go to ACU on the advising day.. the day I went to enrol was the first time I was there. Then again for me it was more about the course than the uni.. I just went along to open days for days out with friends. So if you cant make it along to one or a few.. don't stress.

I agree, I think it's good to go to see the atmosphere and to just meet and have a chat with the academics.
