Uni degree in management (1 Viewer)

i am doing a Bachelor of Technology (IT support) at UWS and i want to know about the other management courses but i cant seem to find any from other unis except UWS.
If someone can list them for me, i would like to thnks you very much.

also, what are the best uni's for business?

If you do a Business/Commerce degree you will be able to major in Management in most cases. Commerce degree in UNSW is probably the most popular at this moment. 96.00

But then you always have:

5) BCommerce @ ANU
6) B Business @ UNCLE
7) B Business @ ACU

If you wanted to get into management you best bet would probably be to graduate, then work for a few years and do an MBA.

You can major, or 'specialise' in management within commerce. It also allows you to fall back on something else if it dosen't appeal to you anymore. Commerce also allows you to double major, unlike Business Administration which allows for no majors

management degree will equip you with the neccesary knowledge to become an entrepreneur and have the potenetial to expand through out australia and also globally.

at UNSW, there are 4 "branches" of majors you can do that fall under management:
Human Resource Management
Industrial Relations and Organisational Behaviour
Management
International Business

(apparently, I've heard rumors the School of International Business is going to merge with the School of Management (home of the first 3 majors) )

i am probably leaning to UNSW, USYD or UTS but getting there will be hard, seeing the UAI.
THe thing is ohne, i don't know wha ti want to graduate with because i hate computers after doing programming...but i've alwaays liked management and dealing with people.
so that's why i made up my mind to transfer.

If you like doing things with people, then Human Resource Management is a good point to look at, all 3 uni's you want to go to offer this, so its well worth considering

if you want HRM i suggest MQ uni and its Bachelor of HRM

check the date natstar.....plus i trasnferred this year as i ve posted in the UWS forums....
to me that tone sounds so accusatory

in regards to the topic, i think a B BA is more practical than a B Management or could i tbe the same thing? DO you B BA'ers learn all that theoretical crap like how businesses role in th eMarxism view etc., org strucutres, entrrepreneurship, org behaviour, org learning, change managment, current management issues etc.? I believe a B BA is more towards practical management, drawing on strategy and managing people and current issues...any opinions? than maybe we can suss out what they really are so that Sara_whiley can see...
