Hey all ,

i received my enter score today, it was a 92.75 i was quite happy.
However, the course i want to go to has a clearly in enter of 93.00!!
which is aerospace engineering. so i missed out by 0.25.
The fringe enter score was 90.2 so does anybody have an idea how this works
and whether there is a good chance that i can get into aerospace?..

cheers

I'm not sure about that course in particular but a lot of courses let people in with UAIs below the cutoff. And there's also a chance that the cutoff will fall

I reckon ur in, people as said before get in with way lower marks. Engineering considering not much students want to study it makes ur chances of getting in higher. Your high school subjects are also perfect for engineering which again boosts ur chances.

Good Luck.

yes. engineering is essentially 50% calculus by the time you get into second year.

also UAIs fluctuate based on how many people apply. if 50 people apply for a course which has a capacity of 1000, then the UAI cutoff would be the UAI of the 50th guy that got in. if 2000 people apply, then the UAI cutoff would be the UAI the 1000th person who got in got.
