We have this program called UAI estimator V11 and we just ask the careers advisor for it, although it only takes into account Trial performance...

SAM for you?

If I put in raw trial marks (obivously not aligned), it gives me 96.35
Hopefully I can repeat the marks I gained in the trial...

Earlier in the year I would say I'd be content with a 75. But I have since found a course I really want to do, and unfortunately, it's a UAI of 95.xx . Now, I can't settle for anything less than 88 (including for backup options)

My preference with the highest UAI is 80, but it's also my lowest preference. Second preference is 60, and first is 75 (also applied for first preference through early entry). I'd like 80ish, but I'm not holding my breath, and I'll be happy as long as I get into one of the courses I want.

My school estimation was 99.1, and I was freaking out cause I wanted 99.55 (USYD) or 99.3 (UNSW) for Combined Law.

Then I got the the AAA, which means I only need 94.3 to get into UNSW.

Biggest relief EVER.

What do you want to combine with? Because (you prolly know this), but doing it at UoW, or doing the single degree and transferring into Combined Law in 2nd year won't be too hard with an estimate of 98.75 :]

Best of luck :)

In reality I wanted to combine it with Commerce or Economics....

You?

I know that there are many other universities and such, but I've got my heart set on Sydney's Law program

Science/Law. I know how you feel, I've wanted to go to a Group of 8 Uni since I heard about them in Year 9.

Thing is, head into a Commerce or Economics degree (94.xx and 91.xx) and get a distinction average... they'll be begging you to transfer into Combined Law :] It's an extra year, I know, but it's one way to get passed the "Oh dear, I missed 3 marks in one exam, no more USYD Law for me D:" which plagues people who want to attend there.
