These are the subjects i do and the marks, ranks.

English Standard 80% 1/95
Mathmatics 2 unit Around 75% 45/88
Business Studies 86% 10/66
Engineering Studies Around 84% 3/21
Legal Studies 93% 1/22

I was wondering if i still have any chance of getting over 95. My aim is 97.5 (law at uts). Do i still have a chance of achiveing this even though my maths rank is poor. I go to a school which usualy good (normally top 20 schools), and we have a fairly smart year. Will this have any advantage for me??

Is my maths rank going to stuff me up?!?!?!?!
Also can anyone have a go at predictions for my uai?
How important are school ranks?
If you do really really well in the hsc, will a poor school rank still bring you down a lot?

Could anyone give a brief explanation of how school rank and hsc mark work out?

Any answers to my questions would be appreciated. Thanks heaps!!

Yeah good chance of over 95, going to be hard to get 97.5 need that math mark to improve, or if you were doing adv and doing well in that.

School ranking doesn't effect you're mark. People ask for it because obtaining average at a selective school is alot harder then say at a normal public school.\

No matter what school you're at if you're good enough you can get any mark.

School rank does affect it but only so that they can work out the difficulty of your assessments. why not get a general idea of your mark using the SAM on this site? sure, its not exactly right, but it should give a rough idea.
Any way, if you go really well in the actual exam, that will help get you up there, but even if you don't, there are alsways other ways of getting into the course you want - they may just take slightly longer.
