OK, recently, I've had both my maths HT and my principal tell me that if there is a wide gap between your external and internal, they will just take your external mark. Is there a way of actually getting this? I know misadventure forms oly count for misadventure just before the HSC exams. In my case, I missed 12 weeks, and I know that even though I applied for EAS, UAC and BoS are not the same, and my HSC will not be a true indicator of what I've got

like, my internal ranks [at sydney boys high];

English Adv: 98/210
MX1: 56/186
MX2: 85/121
Eco: 78/99
Physics: 97/129

Whereas these would normally be very shitty, giving me a UAI of low 90s, I think I cant get high 90s in all my externals...so is 96 possible?

I mean, through SAM, I put in Eng - 85, MX1 - 96, MX2 - 88, Eco - 75, Physics - 86, Cosmology - 83 and got a prediction of 97 or something....but do you guys think my estimates are too farfecthed?

also, does that external/internal gap marking thing occur?

you do go to a decent school which is in top 15, so i guess that with study, then i can assure you that you can get 95+
i think the majority of the students will most likely ace the externals, so unless you screw the externals up, i dont see a massive gap (15+) between the internals and externals

not my fault my internal marks are half decent and still kick the shit out of the average knobcheese.
Yeah we know you are clever :p

As with your UAI.. I think it;s going to be around 94ish .. ofcourse it depends on how your classmates and you perform. I think by internal mark your teacher meant the moderated internal marks
