these uai prediction threads suck.
KinA your marks are NOT moderated yet! Youre school might mark hard or other factors could have an effect on the marks you have now and what youll get in the future.

UAI predictions are of no use now (maybe for self esteem/confidence wise). Guys seriously just study and forget about it.

:) not meant to be brutal, just straight forward

aLIS is right, alot of schools can screw u over with really hard assessment tasks and marking scales. And since the HSC is only a few days away there isnt much point worring about it now.

just work as hard as u can in the time u hav laft and hope for the best

not bad, but english is really letting you down. that could be the difference. if you are aiming for 70+ you really need to pull up english

courtney-lee549 you have solid ranks, you're putting yourself in a great position to get mid 70's. thing is you've got low scaling subjects so you can't afford too many stuff ups.

aLIS is right. uai estimations are nothing now.. forget about them. it helps with knowing where you should aim with certain subjects, but study is the most important thing right now.
i keep telling myself, try not to cram, try to understand what you're doing and how things fit together. essentially, thats what they're searching for, but it will also help with questions that we've never seen before. questions that we may not have studied- there will always be somehting there thats completely new and unexpected..
ms information.. try not to worry too much about school marks- if you put everything into the hsc, and get better marks, then its likely everything will be pulled up. say, you got 52 in anvanced english, if you get 70 in the hsc, the 'scalers' will think that the school marking system was tough or the exam hard, and bring your marks up. hsc exam always has greater weight..

good luck everyone.. a few more days. i wish we still had more time!

Seriously speaking, could someone atleast give me a lousy logical reason to why a UAI of 70 is/isn't possible with the school marks I have given above?

Note: I am aware that without external marks your prediction may not be correct. But you know.. I just need to be mentally prepared.

Ok Thanks.

well, your japanese continuers mark is very good but you will need drastic improvement in everything else to give yourself a chance. you need to push everything (bar japanese) up about 15 marks or so to give yourself a shot at all. it's still possible since the final exam is worth 50% of your final mark and you're going to need to go as well as you can to make up for internals.

what's done is done, do your best thats all anyone can ask of you.
