do you really think dropping a subject at this point is a good idea? :S...if you sit for all of them in the hsc n they take your best 10 units that might be safer for you.

if you want to drop because at this point you really cant cope with the work load...then just focus less on your worst subject and concentrate on boosting your marks in the subjects your doing better at.

i dunno i dont think there is any point dropping a subject when youve come this far...but then again thats just my opinion.

gl with everything :)

His school could just be insanely hard markers and he has all the right mixes of scaling. Dude, ultimately it's too late to go all insane now - just go into the HSC and perform the best you can in all your subjects. Let the UAI take care of itself. Goodluck

heyy, my i was wondering for a uai estimate thingy too..

studies of religion 2 unit - 91 (1st/16 or so people)
english adv - about 80~85 (15th or so)
maths adv - 68% (52nd out of 86)
business - 86% (1st / 94 pplz)
legal - 82% (4th / 38)
economics - 77% (16th or so, i think)
ancient - 85% (2nd or 3rd)

i did the c.s.s.a trials and did heaps good compared to the 1/2 yearlys, which really bought my overall ranks/marks up..

i think it is overall marks/ranks
if thats the case your marks/ranks are alright
if you study and do well in your externals, you could be getting maybe 85?

well your school isnt in the top 200 for one. however your ranks are good except for 4U ( cant really say anyhing becoz 4U scales really high, and since there's only three ppl in ur class it should be ok if all three of you do well). i think u should be able to pull off at least 75s and if u work hard high 80s? this is entirely based on your rank though, you'll have to tell me how the people in your school perform...
good luck with everything, study hard ;)

Thanks alot mate,
well i believe that our year have some extremely talented student, however there are the exception of about 5 students in each course, mabe a bit more in 3unit maths. Those ranked ahead of me in Maths and Chem are Freaks who can possibly gain high band 6's.
