most schools seemed to have gotten their uai estimates except for our school =(
can someone predict my uai plss??

my rankings are as follows:
english 83/164
maths 3u 18/101
maths 4u 18/50
chemistry 14/76
physics 8/76

my school is ranked somewhere between 10 - 20 depending on which year.

any predictions?

you obviously go to a good selective school, so im suprised you dont get UAI estimates.
ranks are good...english is going to let you down but you could always make up for it, since youre doing well in maths ext 2.
if you keep it at, youll get 90+ UAI relatively comfortably

well i can definately lift myself into the top 10 for 3u and 4u maths

the mean in our school is apparently like 94/95 ish.. ugh!

is a 99 going to be impossible?

depends how well you do in english
you basically need all band 6's to get 99+, and english might just prevent you from doing that
unless you get 89 or something

i did it on SAm and put a high band 4 to 5 for english and low 90s for everything else - it still said i could get 98.5-99

is sam inaccurate??

sam is merely an estimator...its not meant to be that accurate, but when students entered their marks onto SAM, some students had theirs accurately predicted whilst others were off the mark by around 2 points
it depends....try juai and see whether you get a similar result to SAM

and these are my half yearly results.. i know some are shit and i need to improve but just out of curiosity what would i get

i know i have to crank up my english marks. and i reckon i can get PE and bio in the 80s

you have some sort of rank for each subject that you could give us? that way we could give you a more accurate estimate.
also is religion 1 or 2 unit?

ranks are decent, except english is a bit of a worry.
since youre doing 12 units, chemistry is the subject that wont probably count, but you have to do well in english from now to the conclusion of the hsc in order to do relatively well.
i wont guarentee you in getting 80 just yet, but bump your english inside the top 100, then youll be well on your way to getting 80+

well i reckon i could get in the top 75 or better. i was in the top 30 last yr i think i just fucked up a bit at the start of this one. I also reckon i will be able to push my others up by 5 or six marks. im hoping for band 5s. You are right about chemistry. it sucks balls.. possibly the worst subject ever invented. but im hoping for in the high 60s maybe 70s at best. so yer anyways thanks for the help
