i ot 94.95 and my first pref is med sci too at usyd, which was 91.05 in 07 but in 06 it was 94.00. judging by that it could go up or down with a pretty big margin, jsut depends on the uai of those students who select it. i think unsw med sci is 90. something or 89

Note that Usyd inflates their UAIs in order to give a false sense of popularity or prestige about the course.

So seeing as though you're only behind by around a point, i think you do have a chance of getting in. Unless medical science is very popular that is.

also usyd has a flexible entry scheme so if you got a band 5 or 6 in maths or any other related course they'll automatically consider you if you're 5 points below the cut off. But go check on the website just in case you have to fill in an application form

S1MO, yup that is so true, i know it for a fact that USYD inflates their UAI cutoffs - and similarly, many other unis do the same thing. They do it to make their course look better. hahaa

UWS should also bump their UAI cutoffs to get more prestige? or to falsely show the supply/demand of the course?

Source please.
