okkk soo i got my uai prediction from saw which says 87.15
but my real uai is 82.54
i thought it was pretty accurate
these are my resulties
legal studies:88
visual arts:88
community and family studies:89
english standard:80
ancient history:82
studies of religion 1:82

Nearly the exact same thing happened to me and my subjects are majority science, good scaling. Doesn't matter now but.

i thought that legal and ancient scaled quite well in the HSC

oh great...i do 3 of those subjects.

but SOR 1, legal & ancient should be bad scaling...

there's a lot of factors affecting scaling every year. the calcs don't even know exactly how some of the marks scale.
so yeah, you should account for how much it'll be off

i think cos no1 does community and whatever studies. SAM works by feeding off past data and i think whoever made SAM had like 0 or 1 datapoints for that subject to go by, leading to whacky inacurate results like yours

moral of the story, do normal subjects
