^Doesn't work for me most of the times.

I usually prefer typing out my notes. Usually when I write things, I never look back at them.

I write them, then transfer them onto the computer afterwards. I'm glad I do, because I know I would have lost most - if not all - of my Half-Yearly notes and practice essays.

NEATLY written notes in a folder stapled and one bullet point at a time or similar ones together. I don't type out my notes coz I can't be bothered, but would prefer them typed up to make things easier XD

AND I agree, I do get carried away on the computer. I'd manage only one sentence... see right now I'm doing my assignment on Chemistry, thanks BOS... lol

I do hand written as study for exams. Like everyone said, it sinks in easier. After the exams, I type and save all of them onto my comp cos my friends want my notes for some reason o.o; It also helps me absorb more, I guess, so I'm not complaining XD

typed for super detailed subjects- like history/geography/business studies

its also easier on a laptop coz the teacher is liable to change facts/dates/tell you to insert table/mindmap

but for english and ideas/creative brainstorming- handwritten.

(this sounds vain but i kinda like my handwriting)

- also Tablet Laptops :) they are rocking my world.

usually handwritten.
less distractions
and you spend less time trying to format it right
its more messy, but meh.

Typed for study for exams etc; except practise essays which I handwrite (coz the more u practise writing, the faster u get at it).

Typed study notes are for one reason and one reason only-

you dont know HOW GOOD IT FEELS to RIP up all your study notes after exams!!!

Typed...otherwise I would never do them...i detest handwriting
Plus this way I get a nice folder of really detailed notes, particularly for science that I can then refer to when I make shorter notes while study for exams
Plus the formatting and prettyness makes it easier to read and format...

Hahah TYPED up all the way, coz wen ur typing it u can use Shift+F7 (Thesaurus) so u can write up a good 1, but then i practice writing it, heaps n heaps of time lol :)

p.s. also because my handwriting is very bad, so i prefer typing, only if u cud type in the exam instead of writing :(
