--HSC Results ADDED !!! :D--
--Selling epic science notes and 4U resources, read below !!! :D--

Hey guys!!

I'm Jayson Jeganathan (alternatively known as "Jega" in my school due to a surplus of Jasons). Tutoring all levels of Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English around Parramatta area (Year 10-12).

Credentials

1st in Baulkham Hills High School (2nd-ranked school in NSW) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Advanced & 3-unit Maths.
5th in 4-unit Maths :p

HSC Results:

Physics: 98 (State rank 7th)
Chemistry: 98 (State rank 2nd)
Biology: 97 (State rank 9th)
3U Maths: 99
4U Maths: 96
EngAdv: 97

Other things: Won National Finals of Australia-New Zealand Brain Bee Challenge in 2008, HD's in a bunch of science competitions, and 2nd place in state writing competition

Particular Expertise in: Phys/Chem/Bio

Teaching Style

Maths & Sciences:
I cater to students of all abilities. I'll assist with understanding concepts, with particular focus on preparing for assessments + exams.

For more advanced students, we can accelerate the course to finish it ahead of the class, so that:
1) We can focus on exam-style questions towards the end
2) When you learn the same things again in class, it will be entirely revision, and basically, it will stick in your head much better.

This is the strategy I followed in my HSC, and it worked. In the sciences, my teaching style will focus more heavily on understanding the underlying concepts. I will also teach and supply detailed notes on the syllabus content that simply must be memorised for exam success.

English:
I can promise you that I won't be one of those tutors that says your writing is bloody brilliant and you're the best writer in the state regardless of how good they are. There are certain things your essays and stories must have to get a good mark, and I can help you achieve these goals.

Details

$35/hour.

Length + frequency of each session are negotiable, depending on your needs.

I don't have a car at the moment, so you'll have to come to my place, which is close to Wentworthville station

Hope to see you guyz soon!:p

OMG THIS GUY

is so epic!

- Not only good enough to top the state in most of his subjects,
- He's actually a genuinely helpful and constructive teacher
- One of the nicest people i've ever met.
- Guaranteed 99.95 or at least state ranks

Imo jega, you should be charging a LOT more.

Anyone who gets this fellow as a tutor is very lucky indeed. and i mean that in more than one way ;) hehe
