I'm looking for a tutor for my son who is going into year 11 in 2010. He is not a high achieving student, but it would be good to see a decent improvement across all of his subjects without undue pressure - doesn't need to be cream of the crop!
Besides Standard English, he is taking ancient and modern history, software design & technology, German and Drama. Focus would best be directed on English, and helping him build a good study discipline that would put him in a good stead for the HSC examinations. There is no need for you to be able to tutor German or Drama. Better results in English I am sure will lift all his other marks.
Is there someone who can motivate him and teach him study discipline? Someone patient but firm and comitted to last the distance.
