I saw this movie last night, I'd really liked the ads which made me cry, so I went to this movie hoping for a tearjerker - NADA! This movie was absolutely crap, you didn't feel anything for the main characters it was just badly done
I was laughing my guts out by rthe end of it

I saw it today and was totally preparing myself for a tear-fest but was let down in that regard. Didn't really feel anything for the main characters (apart from the fact that James Franco is ultra hot) except for the brother guy, he was cool.

Saw it last friday. The dialogue was absolutely not 9th century and the acting didn't exactly help the movie's cause either. It's like a combination of the worst bits of R&J and that shitty King Arthur movie.

I hear it follows the legend fairly closely, except for the love potion element.

It thought this movie, saw it on DVD recently, was really good.

The World needs more Love. It is also relatively historically accurate in that there was war between the tribes of Ireland and England and they did use love and marriage to try to build Peace.

For those of us interested in political science, it shows that good people try to make peace and unity time and time again and that love can conquer all.

Which I believe, I believe in love.
