The SAM result is fairly accurate but the thing is the one u've entered for ur "raw mark" will be moderated during marking process, i.e. the "raw mark" is not the one u got exactly from the paper :)

The raw mark of your paper of the HSC exam will be aligned to an "exam mark" that will be reported to you. This exam mark will be scaled.

Generally a HSC mark of 91 (the average of the exam and your assessement mark) will get scaled up.
