Trends in direction of trade and investment (1 Viewer)

I am not so sure about some of the TREND, DIRECTION of exports/imports and investment flow for Australia in RECENT years. Could people nominate some?

we've been moving away from trade with the UK and more towards regional Asia, eg China

i can't think of anything more recent than that =/

Since the uk joined the EU, Australia has moved away from trading with them due to increased protection. Australia's main partners now are in SEA and the US. We primarily import manufactured goods and export resources and agricultural products. We have an increasing services export base.
