I don't know if anyone actually reads this part of the forum but I need some clarification. Transformed resources refers to inputs that are used to produce a service or finished good. So in my textbook, it says for materials that they change in possession for some businesses especially in retailers. I don't understand why retailers would change possession of raw materials, since they sell finished goods? :S

Transformed resources are products that have been created, such as the goods sold in retail. You've confused this with transforming resources, which are used in production, for example, machinery.

Is this for operations?
