I assume that non-school leavers can receive offers in the late round like everyone else. Don't quote me on that, though.

Just wanna know my chances of transferring.
course starting next month: B Business and Commerce@UWS
want to transfer to either:
-B Business@UTS 90 UAI
-B Commerce@UNSW 95.1 UAI
-B Commerce@USYD 94.9 UAI (cuts off based on `07)

I recieved a UAI of 67.70, with EAS. I will be able to apply for inequity and I'll be accepted as disability supported, and perhaps even sporting. These (perhaps) may increase my chances.

Anyhow, what are my chances of getting in even if I average a D.
And if I do transfer, would I get credit points from my UWS course to the transferred uni.

any help would be great
Thanks

the thing is NRSL is really really flexible coz they can make zero vacancies,,, like couple of yrs ago usyd had none, and last yr i believe a successful transferee said USYD NRSL is 96.1...

a BOSer with 97.85 & 5.875 made it to UNSW last yr...from com to com/law

*finger crossed*...

Question:
I'm transferring from UWS to UTS. What happens to my student fees for UWS (which I just received in the mail). Am I to ring up and tell them about my transfer, or will they cancel my account automatically?

since you got your transfer to uts, then you should tell them to cancel your enrolment. Make sure you do that asap. You might have to go to the campus and ill out a discontinuation form though.

what college and what qualification?

these backyard Colleges you pay $10k are a joke. your basically paying for your Grades. your friend probably slipped through the net.

and no offecne a Cr average at a college is really poor form to expect to get into UNSW

u should of went to tafe instead or done UNSW's UPP program for $400 or so.

u need to phone up/email UNSW admissions and ask if the KVB couse is a recognised course. because if its your intention to get into UNSW u maybe wasting your time at KVB.

ask them for a options for a pathway for you, ask them why u didnt get in this year, and what you can do in 08 to get in in 09.

UNSW are pretty good at giving u info.

I'm currently a first year enrolled at UMQ and had a UAI of 90.6. I'm thinking of transfering to UNSW - commerce which had a cut-off of 95. I don't really think i can transfer mid-year because my uai is a way lower than the cut-off so if not, then i want to try for next year. For UNSW - commerce, does anybody know what GPA would usually be accepted? I think the GPA at MQ is scaled differently so i basically want to know if getting credit averages would be enough for transfer.

getting a GPA of 5.5-6.0 would give you a good shot at getting into unsw commerce so basically high credit at least

What sort of GPA do you need with a uai of 75 to transfer to a course that has a 85-90 cut off? (Eg Economics at UNSW)
probably a GPA of at least 5 since unsw takes the higher mark out of your secondary and tertiary marks
