I got in for a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Science but i want to do a Bachelor of science. Do i have to wait a year and transfer or is there another way? Also, if i do have to wait a year, will i get to go into second year Bachelor of Science or start over again? Thanks.

If you have the ATAR for B. Science, I think an internal transfer shouldn't be too much of a hassle.

If you don't have the ATAR, then keep your WAM reasonable (I have no idea how high you need, but try to avoid dropping below credit average; the higher the better) and transfer into B. Science at the end of this year after you get your results. I'm pretty sure that most of the units you do in B. Liberal Arts and Science will be transferred as a part of B. Science later, so I wouldn't worry too much about that.

You can try emailing the science faculty to get a better idea.

If you wanted to do science but got BLAS it is reasonable to assume you didn't make the science ATAR.

You could apply next year for Sem 1 2018 science if your marks this year are good.

See http://sydney.edu.au/study/admissions/pathways-to-study/transferring-courses.html

If you did get into science, you could claim credit for any BLAS units you do this year that are valid for the bsc.

The ATHK unit is probably not creditable.
