Yeah FWD means crap, if anything the only hinderence it makes is that they have had to not offer manual as it would be crazy to have a 200kw FWD Manual! From a review I read recently, the car handles very well, they have said better then the Falcon at least... the whole reason why the car is auto is so the cars electronics work together to reduce understeer etc. Eitherway, understeer is regarded as safer than oversteer, so unless your some idiot who wants to oversteer his car into a pole this isnt really a disadvantage.
Would have been nice to see the TRD Aurion in AWD though, that would have been something... 240kw on FWD is really reaching the very limits I think, AWD would have been alot more appealing to customers and would have meant that a manual could be used.... I think this particular car will suffer as a result of this. Im assuming they did this because the TRD Aurion will only be sold in Australia, so they werent going to invest alot and just used the same platform as the basic Aurion... which is stupid because if they put more into it, made it AWD with a manual... this car could have been successful not just here but also overseas, the U.S particularly so. But then again, it would also blur the line between lexus and toyota, more complicated then it firsts looks maybe
