I can't believe i missed Moriah on my (highly incomplete) list actually.

They're always brilliant, any school with Alex Borowsky as alumni ..

They achieved 20 state rankings, which is excellent.

why...??? all i see is the SMH FAILED to keep a file off THEIR OWN SERVERS. That's right, THEY CHOSE TO UPLOAD IT, thereby accepting anything that could come after its upload. Any decision to upload a file should come with prior thought as to whether it's the right time to upload it.

Ok, if you buy a copy of a newspaper, and then photocopy it for other people to see, but then the SMH said that there was an error in the newspaper, it's not like it's illegal for you to distribute the photocopies of the newspaper with errors to others, in this case, THEY CHOSE TO PRINT IT before they checked for errors. Any errors should be found and removed before print.

The SMH should be held accountable and face the consequences if they do/fail to do something (check for errors in their print, upload files at wrong times etc...).

To be honest, I don't think it's that big a deal. If it's embargoed, and they want links pulled, fine by me. Truth is, it's already out there, and it's not difficult to find if you search properly or ask the right people.

nup it just means you didnt get in the top 20 for that subject.. there could have been 20 people who got 99 and you got 98 and didnt make the list

Maybe not all 90+'s get their names on their list, only the best 90+'s (eg. 95-99) get on the list.

by the way(this sounds incredibily stupid at this point of time): the HSC mark, is that purely the mark you got on the day, or an average of your school's assessment marks as well the HSC exam? and is it dependent on other ppl's performance?

The top of the article says that the lists are those students who got above 90 in a subject, is this right? Or is it the "top 20's" as some people have suggested?
