my frikin comp1911 lecture clashes with my comp1911 tutorial. tho its the only option i have

i dont understand. it seems to inherently clash? how does that work

my mistake, it was ENGG1000

attached is my finalised timetable. i cant seem to change the ENGG1000 times because thats the ONLY available option

Yeah, only one ENGG1000 time isn't ideal. My timetable is quite similar to yours (same subjects), even in a few common lectures I see.

Change another course aroudn so you can fit in the comp tute on a differernt day etc.

People move around their tutes and labs during the first week when they're still trying to adjust their timetable. Keep your eyes peeled and you might get the slots you want.

Swap the subject for itself, and you'll be able to pick from other available lecture/tute streams.

ok one question guys,

on the student outline it says that ENGG1000 has 4 contact hours per week

thus those red boxes seem to be addons

im very confused here =S

I'm having the same problem with ENGG1000. Only thing I can select and it clashes with itself.

I think the clash comes from displaying your timetable with all the weeks selected though..

Yeah I'm right, untick 1-3 and 12 and 13 and get your timetable and its fine. Just worry about the cross-course clashes.

ENG1000 is not a clash even thoguh it shows it as being one.

i made a timetable with YOUR subjects, untouchablecuz, on Rectangles and i got no clashes.

Also, iirc the massive block of engg1000 lecture is kinda divided up, it wont be that long, and most of it you'll be with your group talking and planning etc for your project.

Also, regarding the clashes, make sure you check to see if certain classes run at the same times during the whole semester, some classes run for a certain amount of weeks, then their times might change later (like from week 6 onwards, or something), but would show up as a clash for some reason.
